Fashion has always effected the Tech and Dev world. While smaller in scale, the adoption of FastAPI as a framework is another example of people choosing Tech based on buzz words over actual deliverables. AI as it stands has a place and it will be a great one, but its not and never will be the answer to all.
ML as a whole still has places to go but LLM's are at their limits.
